We are recruiting for our industry leading, Worcester based client who are a seeking a client account manager to further develop the business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with account management and development experience ideally within the manufacturing or engineering sector.

The role
- Qualify incoming enquiries, extracting relevant information from job specifications and reading client General Arrangement drawings.
- Preparing quotations, negotiating, and closing business contracts with existing and new clients
- Delivering sales pitch to prospective clients
- Preparing and presenting business and account updates to the company’s management.
- Monitoring the budget of the client, explaining costs or expenditures, and discussing new terms if necessary.
- Following up clients to ensure they are satisfied with the company’s products or services.
- Contributing information to sales strategies by assessing current product results, monitoring competitive products, assessing needs to be filled and analysing customer reactions.
- Communicate to clients clearly and addressing their concerns and resolving any conflicts that arise.
- Raising client’s business concerns and need to the company’s management.
- Distributing marketing and social media content to the clients
- Client and supplier visits, both UK and Internationally as required.
- Managing customer projects
The person
- Excellent communications skills, giving you the ability to quickly establish and build a rapport with customers.
- Outstanding customer service skills are essential.
- Genuine drive and ambition to succeed.
- The ability to work within a team and using your own initiative.
A positive, flexible, forward-thinking approach to work is required, along with an aptitude for problem solving and excellent attention to detail.
This role is office based, and due to the location will require own transport.
