Four Squared Recruitment are supporting a fantastic business in Birmingham with the recruitment of a Compliance Assistant within Financial Services. This role will be a fixed term contract until June 2021 with working from home until office re opens. 
 
 
You will be expected to undertake the following: 
  • Open new client accounts
  • Complete relevant checks 
  • Maintenance of client data 
  • Maintain electronic records 
  • Monitor alerts 
  • Escalate any discrepancies to the Line Manager 
  • Communicate with other departments to resolve issues arising 
  • Provide training to colleagues 
  • Adhere to policies and procedures regarding data protection 
  • Stay aware of internal strategy and actively drive personal career and development plans to suit
You must have the following; 
  • Demonstrated ability to apply theoretical knowledge in work context
  • Ability to follow procedures 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Good organisation and time management skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Able to work flexibly
  • Good systems skills including Microsoft Excel 
  • Knowledge or awareness of tax (desirable)
