Four Squared are working with a long-standing Educational Institution in Birmingham who are seeking a qualified finance director to join the businesses in this newly formed role working alongside the Head of Finance and Payroll.
The successful candidate will have experience working in an educational environment or similar (NHS, Housing Association, Local Authority) at a senior level.
My client offers an attractive benefits package including 18% employer pension contribution and 35 days annual leave.
Responsibilities Include:
- Work alongside the Head of Finance and Payroll to provide excellent financial management and deliver the financial targets
- Deliver the financial and commercial targets as specified in the annual plan and report these to the senior leadership team and Corporation
- Line management of key managers
- Prepare a monthly commentary to the management accounts for the business
- Develop and maintain a budgeting policy
- Support the Chief Operating Officer in the budgeting and resource allocation process
