Reporting to the Company Accountant, this role offers a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified chartered accountant looking to make their mark in a supportive, long standing team or a qualified individual who can bring their long term knowledge. Your Responsibilities:

• Prepare the monthly management accounts pack.
• Generate statutory financial statements, produce working papers, and collaborate with external auditors as needed.
• Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Assist in the annual insurance renewal process.
• Utilize database systems to maintain, manage, and produce relevant reports for the business.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations, proactively highlighting potential areas of risk.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Maintain accurate financial records.
• Stay informed about current legislation related to finance and accounting.

• You are newly qualified or a finalist (ACA/ACCA).
• You bring experience from an accountancy practice environment (advantageous).
• Your Excel skills are robust.
• Your knowledge of technical and developments in the accountancy profession is up to date.
• You work accurately and methodically with a keen eye for detail, prioritizing work effectively.
• You are a strong team player and can work on your initiative.
