Head of Finance

As the Head of Finance, you will play a vital role in overseeing the financial operations. You will lead a team responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. Your expertise will guide strategic financial decisions, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive financial performance to support the company’s goals and objectives. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to drive business performance and achieve financial goals.
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to support business planning and decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop long-term financial plans, evaluate investment opportunities, and assess financial risks.
  • Manage and optimize cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure financial stability and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting principles, and industry standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact the organization’s financial performance.
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Professional finance qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) is preferred.
  • Significant experience (8+ years) in financial management, with a focus on healthcare, preferably in a leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations specific to the healthcare industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • Proven track record of successful financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in financial software and systems, including ERP systems, budgeting tools, and Microsoft Excel.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
