Head of Finance

Our client, a leader at the forefront of innovation in their field of engineering is seeking an experienced qualified accountant to steer their finance team through the next phase of sustainable success and continued growth. Your Role:

• Lead day-to-day financial operations, providing strategic insights into budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to drive key initiatives.
• Generate impactful financial reports guiding decisions across the organisation.
• Ensure rigorous compliance with financial protocols and standards, overseeing audit processes, and proactively mitigating financial risks.
• Optimise financial workflows and systems for increased operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with senior management to align financial strategies with operational goals.

Ideal Candidate:

• Distinguished financial expert (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified) with a robust academic background in finance, accounting, or related fields.
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller, particularly in the dynamic sectors of engineering, construction, or manufacturing.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and a strategic mindset.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively present complex financial data to various stakeholders.
