Accounts Supervisor

Worcester/Hybrid

Salary: £32,000

Our client, a leading ecommerce business, is seeking a confident communicator to join their Finance team as an Accounts Supervisor. In this pivotal role, you’ll be the primary contact for all finance-related inquiries, collaborating closely with various stakeholders within our client’s organisation and its suppliers. Your contribution will be vital to the team’s success.

We’ll provide thorough training on the relevant systems and processes, yet this role is best suited for individuals who possess a natural inclination for attention to detail and thrive under tight deadlines. If you excel at balancing speed and accuracy in your work, then this role could be the perfect fit for you!

Main Task’s & Responsibilities:

  • Support the Finance Manager and wider Finance team with Accounts Payable, dealing with enquiries and tasks in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors
  • Oversee general cash management, including banking and related queries, ensuring that amounts and records are correct
  • Provide administrative support to Management Accountants and clerical tasks
  • Record and file cash transactions
  • Assist with month-end processes where appropriate

Skills Required:

  • Solid understanding of financial systems and processes
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in an Accounting Environment
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial data and make recommendations
  • Good IT skills and ability to work with multiple systems
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Positive attitude towards problem solving
  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable
