Management Accountant
Worcester/Hybrid
Salary: £35,000
Our client, a leading ecommerce business, is seeking an experienced Financial professional to join their Finance team as a Management Account. To prepare reports and submission documentation for review by the Finance Manager or HR and Finance Director, for publication to the board of directors and various outside sources.
Main Duties
- Preparation of monthly management accounts in a timely manner, including but not limited to; profit and loss reports, balance sheets and cash flow forecasts, along with other relevant financial information such a trend analysis, spend analysis reports and graphical representation of items within the financial statements.
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and profit and loss analysis.
- Preparation of month end journals such as prepayments, accruals and depreciation.
- Daily bank reconciliation for relevant bank accounts.
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Submission of Goods and Services Tax return (GST)
- Assistance with the cash flow management and payment planning for the bank accounts.
- Assistance with credit control on relevant Wholesale Customers.
Secondary Duties
- Assistance with gathering information for relevant statutory audits, inspections and reviews.
- Assistance with management accountant duties with other group entities during periods of absence
